As modern pioneers, Jackson Estate has been in the business for over 25 years, quietly getting on with hand crafting beautiful wines with elegance, finesse and longevity.
With total respect for our land and focussing on low cropping levels, small batch fermentation, single vineyard fruits and minimal winemaking intervention, we continue to achieve incremental improvements year on year, in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.
We remain 100 percent kiwi-owned and are staying put on our perfectly balanced soils, growing our beautifully mature vines in this incredible Marlborough climate.
The acclaim Jackson Estate generates is based on the merit of its soils, mature, cool climate vineyards and wine making style. High sunshine hours maximise fruit concentration; a long, dry growing season enables aroma accumulation and even ripening. Cool nights retain high acidity in the grapes, allowing the wines to age well.
Jackson Estate believes in a few very simple principles – the best modern winemaking techniques; a respect for vineyard sites; and unerring pursuit of varietal integrity; and through this a strong, identifiable and much admired style.
